Royal Arsenal Heritage Quarter Community Day (and Night)

Saturday 15th May 2010  

Building on the success of the 2009 events, this day will be all about the Royal Arsenal, its history and the people who lived and worked in and around it. Come and see historic film of Woolwich in the 1960s screened in the Museum's Breech Cinema. Museum experts will be on hand to help with family tree research - was there a Royal Artillery Gunner in your family tree? Guided tours of the Royal Arsenal will be available and the event will continue into the evening as part of the national Museums at Night programme. The Museum's licensed Cafe & Bistro will be offering ghost tour and meal packages until 10.00pmStaged in association with the Greenwich Heritage Centre and with free admission for all residents of the London Borough of Greenwich with proof of residence.
